Fire Damage – Northampton

Fire damage to this vacant bank-owned property in Northampton suffered fire damage when squatters started a fire while cooking on a hot plate in the structure. The bank had contractors to perform remodeling, but they were not equipped to deal with the fire damage, soot damage, and smoke damage that had occurred. So the bank wanted us to provide fire damage restoration services prior to turning it over to their contractor. Our technicians would be required to do some demolition work on the walls and ceiling and then dispose of all the debris properly. There would also be water damage cleanup from the firefighting efforts. We used air scrubbers and hydroxyl generators to do away with the lingering smoke odors. The entire affected area was then sanitized and deodorized.
