Northampton Storm Effects to Floors
When waters rush into a home's floor in Northampton, rapid water removal must be followed by drying to mitigate the storm damage. The first photo illustrates drying mats placed and taped to suction hidden water and moisture from below the tongue and groove hardwood slats. The After Photo shows an LGR dehumidifier and air movers that are working hard to remove the airborne moisture in the air and on the surface of the plywood subfloor. Both methods of drying wood-based building materials, along with other types of equipment and extractors, are all part of the SERVPRO arsenal of gear stored in our facility and Green Fleet, ready to roll to counteract water intrusions--whether storms or broken hoses. Count on us for a rapid response.
