Water Removal Projects in Ware

If your home has two inches or more of water, SERVPRO uses submersible pumps to quickly and efficiently extract the water.

Rely on SERVPRO for Water Removal Services after Water Floods Your Home

Any time a pipe breaks, water possibly leaks into your Ware home. The presence of water can cause many things inside the house to get ruined. Unwanted moisture is also a way mold forms inside a building.

Any time water unexpectedly floods your home, extraction and drying within 48 hours becomes a necessity. SERVPRO's water removal technicians in Ware have all of the necessary extraction and drying equipment that helps prevent mold growth. After a water problem, if moisture levels do not get returned to preloss conditions within 48 hours mold likely develops.

The first step in mitigating any problem with moisture is to fix the issue at its source. If the initial problem was a pipe break, then water gets shut off so that it stops flowing into the structure. We then call in a plumber to fix the pipe break so that water does not leak once it gets turned back on.

After we keep water from flowing into your home where it is not wanted, we begin the extraction phase. During extraction, we attempt to pull out as much water out of your house as we possibly can. If there are more than two inches of standing water inside the building, then we use a submersible pump to suck up the water. To vacuum water out of upholstery and carpet, we use a heavy-duty extractor equipped with specialized tools made for getting the moisture out of fabrics.

Once the extraction process is complete, we begin the structural drying step. To dry the structure, our SERVPRO restoration team first uses monitoring equipment to test affected areas to determine how wet an area is. We always get readings of the area that was affected and areas of the home that were unaffected and compare the two numbers. The difference gives us an estimate of what equipment and how much time is needed to properly dry out the structure.

The dry-out process does not get completed until all moisture levels have returned to preloss conditions. Throughout the drying procedures, we use different types of moisture meters to test levels in various materials. To make sure your home gets dried out correctly after water issues call SERVPRO of Hampshire County at (413) 324-1300 for help 24/7.
